1- I have been listening to this song for a few days now. It is currently my favorite nasheed song. A melancholic song coupled with a very deep and meaningful lyric about those loved ones who have passed away. As I have mentioned in my earlier post, this song was a tribute to Rabbani former lead singer Allahyarham Ustaz Asri Ibrahim. May Allah bless his soul, Amin.

2- It has been a while since I last listened to a good Nasheed song. Almost all of our local nasheed groups nowadays were becoming too pop and too modern much to my dismay. What happened to those soulful percussive songs and tarannum vocals? I think nasheed groups today should, and I stress should, write and compose more songs like Kejora Sinar Zaman instead of those pop influenced songs. Bring back the old soul of Nasheed.
